Role-Based Access Control

Chorus implements role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure that users only have access to information appropriate for their responsibilities.

User permissions are determined based on defined roles within the healthcare organization. Typical roles may include clinicians, care coordinators, administrators, and billing personnel.

Access controls determine which actions users can perform, including:

  • Viewing patient records
  • Reviewing physiological observations
  • Managing monitoring programs
  • Generating billing documentation
  • Administering platform settings

By limiting system access based on roles and responsibilities, Chorus helps healthcare organizations enforce internal data governance policies.
